Our Story
We Oversee began in 2021 with a simple yet powerful idea: to create a better way for owners to manage their rental properties without the hassle. Founded by Jeff Johnson, the business was born from Jeff’s firsthand experience witnessing owners struggle to find reliable, high-quality maintenance and service providers. In 2026, W.A. Myatt – after helping Jeff realize and grow his vision for the We Oversee software in the early stages of the business, and then serving as Operations Manager for 2 years – became Owner/Operator, and We Oversee Ocean Isle Beach was born.
To bring this vision to life, he partnered with a software development team to create a powerful platform: the We Oversee portal. This innovative software allows owners and property managers to manage everything from cleaning and linens to maintenance and home improvement projects—all with a few clicks.
Originally part of the team that built We Oversee’s custom software, W.A. Myatt always loved the We Oversee business model. Late in 2023, Jeff and W.A. discussed what it would look like to work together. From this discussion, W.A. came on board as the Operations Manager.
With Jeff and W.A. working together, We Oversee continued to grow in the Ocean Isle Beach area.
Now owner/operator, W.A. took over the business in 2026 – and looks forward to continuing to serve both rental and residential property owners!
